The image of poor schoolchildren crossing the forest and streams in Vietnamese villages to go to school is probably not an unfamiliar sight to many of us. For many of them, a bike can be an unattainable dream. There is a Vietnamese proverb that says, \u201cA good leaf protects a torn one.\u201d Thus, we are calling upon your support to help purchase 30 bikes, $80\/piece, for these disadvantaged children to give them the motivation on their arduous journey of literacy development.
